Lena [more info]

Lena is a calm, charming little dog. She came from a crowded breeding situation probably had way too many litters of puppies. Fortunately, she responds well to people and loves to curl up beside you on the couch! She barks at the cat, but only when she is stuck in her kennel. Otherwise, the cat is boring. Other dogs are great, and people are pretty cool. She has recently figured out how to jump up in a blanket box and loves to make a little nest. She would be a great family pet, and just as good for a smaller household too. Lena is spayed and fully vaccinated and ready to meet her new family! Her adoption fee is $100. Please email us for an application!

Kay [more info]

Kay is a sweet dog! Her foster mom has started calling her Honey, however, because she hid in corners so much at first that her foster mom found herself saying “Oh honey!” every time she tracked her down. Honey is very nervous around new people and often spins when she gets excited. We knew that she had come from a crowded breeding situation, but both of those behaviors are signs that she has also spent a large portion of her life confined. Her foster mom’s quiet house may actually have not be the best thing for her, because what she really needs is to be around people so that she learns humans are actually pretty ok. Honey doesn’t react to cats, loves other dogs, and is completely house trained. She has started bonding with her foster mom and will even come up and ask to be petted! She is still wary around new people. Honey is spayed and fully vaccinated. She needs a home that will be patient with her nervousness and show her that life outside of a box is amazing! Her adoption fee is $100. Please email us for an application!

Abby [more info]

Abby is a very special dog. She is a 7yr old boxer. She came into our rescue in May 2014 weighing 87lbs. She could not even walk but a couple of feet before she collapsed. We ran a thyroid test on her and it turned out she was hypothyroid. She has been put on thyroid medications which have helped tremendously along with a weight loss program with special food. She is has lost over 30lbs! She is now at 52lbs and doing great! She is required to stay on her thyroid medications and she is also on Proin for incontinence. She does well with dogs, cats and kids. Housebroken, but needs frequent potty breaks. She is a wonderful dog. She has been the official greeter at the vet clinic every day where her foster mom works and serves as our ambassador dog for the time she is in our rescue. She goes to all the events and is the official greeter! She would do best with someone that has free time to give her. Her adoption fee is $75.
