Dominic [more info]

Dominic is a black and white 2 year old male Japanese Chin puppy. At 10 pounds, Dominic is a big personality in a small package. This sweet boy is observant, curious and ready to explore all the world has to offer. Dominic loves to cuddle but is also full of energy and loves to fly around his fenced yard at full tilt or wrestle with his toys. He is comfortable with dogs of all sizes and plays very energetically, so he can handle playing with a dog who is larger than he is. Dominic would love to have a doggie brother or sister to play and cuddle with. With his endless charm and silly antics, Dominic will keep you smiling! Because of his small size, Dominic requires an all adult family and a fenced yard. For more information about Dominic contact hart2heartrescue@gmail.com. There is an application process and an adoption fee. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, NC to meet Dominic. We are sorry but we will not ship dogs or put them on transports.

Ava [more info]

Ava is a 19-pound, 5-year-old wheaten-colored Scottish terrier. Ava is a retired breeding dog, so she is just learning to live as a part of a family, and she is looking for that special someone who has experience with the Scottish Terrier breed and who is willing to show her the ropes. Like a true Scottie, Ava is alert, courageous, independent, loyal and sensitive. Ava needs to be the only pet in the household because she can be scrappy with other dogs, and we are unsure about how she would react around cats. Ava requires an all adult home and a fenced yard is a must. For more information contact hart2heartrescue@gmail.com. There is an application process and an adoption fee. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, NC . We will not ship dogs or put them on transports. Ava’s Veterinary Care: Ava is spayed, current on Parvo/Distemper, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped.

Elizabeth [more info]

If you have ever been owned by a Pekingese, Elizabeth will have a very familiar feel. She provides all the benefits that living with a Peke affords: you don’t need a clock to know when it’s mealtime; you don’t need cable, watching Elizabeth play is cheaper and more entertaining; you don’t need a doorbell, she will let you know there’s someone at the door; you don’t need slippers, she will keep your feet warm; and you don’t need drugs, she is a natural anti-depressant! If you’ve never lived with a Pekingese, then you are missing out on one of life’s great joys. Ask anyone who has owned a Pekingese, and odds are they would not have any other breed of dog. Pekes are unique, and Elizabeth is no exception. Her love of life and affection and her happiness and enjoyment of the outdoors are not diminished by only having one eye. Elizabeth is a middle-aged gal and says a woman should never reveal her age. She will tell you she has been completely checked over, head to tail and inside and out, and given a clean bill of health by her doctor. All Elizabeth needs now is someone to cast her spell on. Contact Hart-2-Heart Rescue at hart2heartrescue@gmail.com. Please only inquire if you are willing to come to Greensboro, NC to meet Elizabeth.
